Entries are not loading/showing

Hello

One of our users is having a weird issue. In one vault, he can't see the majority of entries. He can only see 9 seemingly random entries of the approx. 5K entries he should be able to see (in total there are around 8K entries in that vault).

It doesn't seem to be permission related. We are using a MS SQL database and he is running the most recent version of RDM.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

What authentication method are you using? Do the users connect with database accounts or domain accounts?

Are you using the Security Groups legacy security system to set the permissions?

In fact, I think it would be easier to troubleshoot this in a remote session as it could be anything even the permissions. Please send an email to ticket@devolutions.net and please add a reference to this forum's thread.

Hello Erica

That user uses his domain account. We are not using the security groups of the legacy system to set the permissions.

Since the user needed access urgently, we've managed to force RDM to load the entries for now by forcing RDM in offline mode (the user has no offline rights) and then set it to online mode again.

I check with the user tomorrow if that fix has permanently fixed the issue.

Thank you for your feedback.

If that doesn't solve the issue, please follow these instructions on his RDM.

  1. Go in Help - Profiler.
  2. Set the Profiler level to 69633.
  3. In RDM, refresh the data with CTRL+Refresh.
  4. Send me the profiler report.
  5. Set the Profiler level back to 1.
