Hello everyone. I am writing to know if you have ever thought of implementing the support to the Global Protect vpn client of Palo Alto. Thanks
Hello Andrea,
Thank you for reaching out,
I've found the following feature request regarding this https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/31430/palo-alto-vpn-integration
In order for us to make an integration, as mentioned by my colleague we would need to be able to invoke this VPN via either command-line, API, or SDK.
According to this topic which is fairly old this was however not possible, I'm wondering if this is possible for you at this time?
Let me know,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
Hi,
sorry for my delay. I don't know command, api or SDK to invoke the vpn connection
i have tried to find information on internet but i don't have find any solution
Do you know a software solution that i can use to execute and capture the software call execution?
Thanks
Hello,
Personally, I don't know any software like this kind.
Maybe you can simply contact Palo Alto support and asked them if this is supported.
Best regards,

Hi, I opened a ticket in Palo Alto. Iām waiting for their feedback.
Hi, palo alto suppor have replied that isn't available api or other command for sned to the application the connection command. Do you know a method or other software to analize the software when i open the global protect client and open the connection?
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for your swift reply and for contacting the support of Palo Alto.
Unfortunately, since there is no API or command line to achieve this, it confirms that it cannot be done in RDM. As for your question, I am not familiar with a method or another software that would be able to analyze the software and open the connection.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
James Lafleur
I have confirmed that they invoke with command line. Is this doable?
Hello,
That's great, do you have the documentation for the command line, or the command line that works for you? That would help us tremendously. You can even try it out in the "command line" or "custom VPN" entry in RDM to confirm it works as you'd expect.
