Is there a guide how SSH tunneling can be used with RDM

Hello,

I found some prior threads here which has some links how to setup SSH tunneling in RDM but they lead to HTTP 404. My question is following is possible to setup with RDM

  1. I run SSH server on computer1
  2. I configure SSH tunnel in RDM to computer1
  3. I can connect to ANY computer which lives on the same network as computer via RDM by just providing it's IP address on remote network in RDM?

Hello,

That is correct. Could you give us more details on what you would like to achieve or how your environment works?

I'd like to use SSH tunnel to connect to ANY servers behind SSH tunnel without manually creating mapping for each server SSH tunnel. For example I want to connect to server1 by not providing IP address for it in Destination and instead pull that IP address from RDP connection properties. Basically the same stuff RDM jump service or RDP gateway is doing.

Hello,

After checking with the engineering department, they mentioned that in that case, our Secure Gateway feature would be the best option in your case : https://blog.devolutions.net/2020/02/how-to-configure-a-secure-gateway-in-remote-desktop-manager/
The secure gateway will be in charge of retrieving the different available Ports and to gather the entry information to build up the whole thing!
