AWS Workspaces

I have virtual machines in AWS Workspaces and want to connect to them however I don't see that as an option in RDM.

I have an AWS Workspaces Client installed that looks like this:

The client can be downloaded from: https://clients.amazonworkspaces.com/ and requires a site-related registration code, username, and password.

Any plans to integrate this client as a session much like RDP?

Hello,

Do you know if the application has a command line, or if the product has an SDK to integrate within other applications? For RDP we are able to do this because Microsoft has an ActiveX control we can embed within RDM. I'm not sure if it's available for this Amazon product.

This is the only information I could find regarding this client:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workspaces/latest/userguide/amazon-workspaces-windows-client.html

While it is extensive, I do not see any command-line options mentioned. I did forget to mention that there are two possible protocols that the client uses: PCoIP and WSP

I am using PCoIP. I also noticed support for zero clients such as Teradici.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workspaces/latest/userguide/amazon-workspaces-pcoip-zero-client.html

I hope this helps.

Hello Ajay,

Thank you for the links. Regarding integrating the AWS Workspaces client, I'm not sure at the moment if there is much we can do since as you mention they don't seem to provide a CLI to the application so that we can pass parameters to it.
You mention using PCoIP and Teradici being supported, out of curiosity do you use Teradici? In RDM we have an add-on for Teradici PCoIP Client, perhaps this could help you have a good workflow within RDM.
