Session variables are not substituted in parameters of command line (external application) sessions.
Affected version is 2021.2.25.2021.2.23 is okay.
Example:
Run: cmd
Arguments: /c echo name="$NAME$" host=$HOST$ user="$USERNAME$" password=$PASSWORD$ & pause
