VNC will not connect

Hello

We are trying to configure a VNC connection in RDM, but we are experiencing an issue.

When we try to connect, we are receiving the following error:

We are connected to the same network and can perfectly connect to the host via other VNC-applications.

I've found other post regarding this matter on the forum, but they don't provide a solution that is still availble/is working here.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!

Unfortunately, our current embedded VNC integration is due for an overhaul and suffers from some limitations. We have plans to rework the integration to make is more complete and stable, but our troubleshooting options for the current embedded VNC integration are somewhat limited.

For the time being, my recommendation would be to configure your VNC sessions to launch in "External" mode, so you can launch VNC sessions using a more full-fledged VNC application.

First, you will need to change the "Display" option to External. Once that is done, you will be able to select the the application of your choice with the "Application" drop-down menu.
