Hi.
I wonder if it's possible to force mfa with google authenticator when opening RDM. Datasource is MSSQL with intergrated AD login.
What I want to achieve is that every user get a personalized authentication code on their google authenticator app when opening RDM.
I see some different information about this, and i thought the safest bet would be to ask.
I know I can set it up for myself in my own settings, but I want to force it onto all users accessing the datasource.
best regards

Hello,
You can enforce RDM with any TOTP in Administration - System Settings - Applications and enable the Force application security with TOPT (Authenticator) option. The 2FA will be required when opening RDM.

Thanks, I didn't see that tab earlier on.
Do I first tell the users to go into their own options, enable TOTP and scan their QR code in google authenticator, and then check the checkbox in administration when they are all done?

Hello,
There is no need to ask users to enable it. Because it is set in the System Settings, on their next connection, they should be prompted to configure their TOTP.
