Opening more than 7 RDP sessions changes the Screen resolution in the windows

When I open up to 7 RDP connections to servers the connection windows all fit to the screen size within RDM. As soon as I open an 8th session all the windows now change resolution and no longer fit within the RDM window. This seems to occur because of the tab listing across the top of the RDM screen that allow you to quick-switch focus to another connection. Can this feature be disabled, or is this a known bug?

I often have 10-15 connections open at any time during the day and this is getting frustrating to have to scroll down within an RDP session just to get to the Windows button to log off, or execute other functions.
