Allow Document entries to be available as subconnections.

I would like to track my SSL certificates in Devolutions. I already create WebSites but was very surprised I could not add the certificate as a sub connection. After a quick chat with support I found that this is not currently allowed.
My team manages over 8000 servers, so any thing we can do to reduce the count in the navigation pane is appreciated. Especially for website entries... Example. If a clustered website runs on 3 servers I have all 3 ssh connections, 3 SFTP entries all as sub connections to the website.
I was looking to add the Certificate there too. This way all aspects of the website are documented in a single pane.
Hello Vince,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter!
Have you considered using the attachments to keep everything in the same entry https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/pane_attachments.html? If that doesn't suit your need, you may want to consider using a host entry with different templates. Its use is similar to what you are trying to achieve with the sub-connections but it works way better. For more information, please consult this link: https://kb.devolutions.net/rdm_host_with_templates.html
Let me know if that helps!

Hello,
I'm really sorry. but this is a huge limitation that we have. Our current architecture does not allow us to save a document or an attachment because the subconnection is not stored independently in the database. It's nested in the parent entry. This is something that we want to change in 2022 and it's on my priority list. It's just a lot of work.

James, thanks for the idea but the Attachment idea isn't as good because it doesn't have the same Expiration options as a native Certificate entry.
David, I understand. What about adding "another RDM object" as a subconnection type?
So for example I could create a Website entry in one vault and keep my certificates in another vault. Then under the Website I could point it to the Certificate entry. Likewise I could link it to the SSH connection I have for the server.
The more I think about it that may be a better solution all around as it solves more then one problem!
For example DBA's. We have 8000 Servers but most of them are NOT database. So rather then Filter the Security so that the DBA's only see the records they need. I could create a vault for their Database. Then link them the Server entries in another vault by Linking them. Then by extension if the website relies on a Database, I can link that Database entry to the website entry as well.
Going further we can call them Dependencies... Then I can link that SSH Session to the Switch for the to the record, and the ESX Cluster for the VM and....
