Cannot connect to RDP or SSH from IOS RDM
Good evening everyone,
I have a data source (MariaDB/MySQL). In that data source, I have webpage sessions, rdp sessions and ssh sessions. I am having the following issues:
Webpage: Works perfectly fine as expected.
SSH: When trying to connect, it says FAIL_HOST_UNREACHABLE. (When I go to the webpage for the SSH host, it works fine).
RDP: When I try to connect, it fails with "Unable to connect to host".
I should point out that these sessions work perfectly fine via the Windows version of RDM so I am certain that the sessions are ok and the hosts are ok.

In addition: The version of RDM on IOS I have is 2021.2.7 and RDM on Windows is 2021.2.16.0 64Bit.

And I have removed the app from my phone and re-downloaded it and it has made no difference.

If I use the Microsoft RDP app, it works fine.

Sadly on our end, we are not able to reproduce your issue. Here are a couple of things you can do you help us figure out the problem.
1. Do you know if these sessions worked in a previous version of RDM IOS?
2. Could you try to ping your server using our pinging tool (More -> Tools ->Ping Tool)?
3. Could you try one of your session entry in an XML data source?
4. Does your sessions used any specific settings? If possible you can export one (without the password) and send it to us.

Damn, ok then.
- I did work ages ago (Like a few months back), but then I kinda stopped using it and it now doesn't work.
- It comes back saying "Could not reach". When I use an external app on my iPhone (Network Tools"), ping is successful.
- No change.
- Sure, where would you like it sent to?
Figured it out. I had to go to "Settings" > "RDM" and the slider for "Local Network" was off. Turned it back on and Poof, working again
