Hello,
I tried creating a new entry (External application) for Windows Terminal from the Microsoft Store. When I try to open it, I get the error message (screenshot below).
Is there a way to add MS Store apps to RDM, preferably in embedded mode?
Thanks,
SP
Hello Stu,
I have a few questions which you can hopefully answer,
Let me know,

Hi Samuel,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I am testing this on RDM Free v2021.1.41.0.
Yes, you are correct. I tried using the entry "Command Line (External Application)".

Hello Stu,
Thank you for your response!
For this entry type, you would need to be able to launch the application outside RDM using command lines, I'm wondering if that's the case with this application?
That being said, to my knowledge there are no methods to launch Microsoft Store apps using embedded mode in RDM.

I can launch the application outside RDM using a Command Prompt with "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\wt.exe". When using the same command in RDM, it launch Windows Terminal but in external mode even though it is configured with Embedded (tabbed).
Hello Stu,
Thank you for your quick reply,
Sadly, most applications can only be launched in "External" mode, even if you've selected the "Embedded" display mode.
Best regards,
