When I type a server name in the search field it shows anything that is in the Name field, it would be helpful to index the other fields to be searched as well.
Example. We create aliases for servers and those are the ssh names we put in the name field.
I updated the Asset View for the Host and IP, it would be helpful to index the Host & IP fields so when I search those appear in the results
Thank you for the consideration...JGM

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter!
You have the option to adjust your search parameters by clicking on the "..." button on the right of the Search bar. The "Field Options" and "Include X Information" sections will allow you to choose which fields should be included for your searches.
Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any additional questions regarding this feature!

Thx, I was able to get the IP to search but not the host in the Asset section, is that searchable?

Hello,
Thank you for your response!
The Host field under the Asset section cannot be included as a search option currently, because we already give the option of looking for the main Host field in the General section of entries, or the IP field in the Asset section. If you wish to search for a similar field in the Asset section, I would suggest to go with the IP field, which can be included in the search from the "Include General Information" section of the search options.

Thx, I ended up adding the hostname in the description field since I am already using the IP field for the IP.
I tried to use the custom fields but those were not searchable, any chance those can be added?
Regards,
Hello,
We do not have an option available to include Custom Fields in the search bar at the moment. However, with the Advanced Search feature, accessed from the View tab, you will be able to search by Custom Field.
You can set the first drop-down menu to "Custom field", and use the second one to indicate what custom fields you are looking to search for exactly (you can use the custom field's number, or a custom name). You can use the third field to specify what value you are looking for. Once the search criteria are to your liking, you can use the Search button to start the search.
Best regards,
