I go between 2 or 3 computers on a weekly basis.....never log out/reboot/etc.....just leave everything open - like RDM! I will occasionally make a change on one computer and in order do see it, I need to close RDM on the other computers and load again. Wondering if there is something somewhere that it will reload the connection database every say 4 hours or something so those new changes show up.
Hello mark2,
I believe simply refreshing the data source should allow you to see your changes without having to restart your instance of RDM, this can be done by pressing the "Refresh" button in the top left corner of your RDM Window.
That being, if you go under "File" -> "Data sources" then select your data source and press the "Edit" (Pencil) button, you can then go under the "Advanced" tab and check the "Auto Refresh" option, this option will perform an automatic refresh of the data source every specified amount of time.
Let me know if this helps,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
I was using a local data source going to my personal OneDrive storage - didn't see the option to auto-refresh there. So I exported all those then imported into Devolutions Online Drive where the auto-refresh is greyed out, but says 30 seconds. I'll see how that goes for me.
Hello mark2,
Perfect, let me know if you have further questions.
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
