How to create tab connection to network folder?

avatar

Good afternoon!
I am a beginner and am trying to figure out how can I do the opening of a network folder? I tried to make an explorer, registered the path and, when connected, I was offered to write credentials and mount the folder.
But I don't want to mount it, but just see the contents in the tab, copy files, and so on ...

Hi,

We can't present you the content of a network folder (share folder) without first mounting it. To connect to a share folder we simply defer to the native Finder mechanism. In the background, it works by sending the "mount volume "smb://..." command and then presenting you the content of the mounted folder.

To do what you want, you'd probably need to configure an SFTP or WebDAV server and use the corresponding session in RDM.

OK, thanks.
And what about winbox ?
How to integrate it?

Hi,

The client for MicroTik Winbox is only natively available for Windows: https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/RKB/Winbox+for+mac

Therefore, the entry is not supported in RDM Mac.
