Embedded Edge loses variables in URL

avatar

When embedded edge has to login to Azure application gateway to reach a website the variables (https://xxx.xxx/$CUSTOM_FIELD3$) at the end of the url is
removed, The whole url is from a template

If you click on the home icon you get the right url is set or has another embedded Edge browser open to the same site so it does not have to log inn.

Hello,

Would you be able to send a quick recording of the issue using the share file link I sent you in Private Messages.

Hello,

Just to make sure I understand.
You have a template for that website with a variable at the end to connect to a specific site, but after the login process, it doesn't go on said website.
If you click on the home icon, it goes to a generic website instead of the one specified with the variable, and if you login to another similar website, it will use the generic one, correct?

Hello,
When it has to logon it ends up at https://survalens.com/ if you click on the home icon it ends up at https://survalens.com/Computername1/ as intended.
If you do this for another computer when the first is still logged inn you get to the intended site https://survalens.com/Computername2/
The computer name is the variable.

@acetico

Im under the impression that this is part of the process, It has to log you in and verify your user before redirecting you to the page you want to end up on.

That is why the first time you're opening that session it is not working because of the login screen prompt but it does after when you open it a second time, I imagine you recieve a sort of token that keeps you logged in for a bit so that part is skipped when launching the other entry for the same website.

Hello,

We've discussed this situation internally and we've opened a ticket for this feature. There are a few potential issues with this that we'll have to figure out, but we have a few ideas on what we could do.
We'll update this thread once we have an update on the feature.
