Change Default Vault

Hello

I'm trying to figure out how I can change the default vault in RDM. When a new user is granted access to RDM, he/she receives automatically access to a certain vault. The vault is the first vault that was created.

Only a few selected users can have access to that vault. Is there a way I can disable the automatic assigning of a vault to new users or that I can change the vault that is assigned when creating a user?

Hi Nick,

We currently do have any mechanism to set the default assigned vaults for new users. We have the "User Template" in system settings but it doesn't include vaults.

There is, however, a workaround.

Select a user in the list that closely matches the rights/settings to be assigned to the new user and hit the duplicate button. So for example if the new employee is part of the support staff, select an existing use from the support group and hit duplicate. All information other than the personal information will be duplicated.

Hi Nick,

We have added this feature internally. It should be available starting with version 2022.2.7.0 in the user template
