Type Clipboard - VMWare Remote Console
I'm using VMRC to connect to some systems. When I try and type in a text string with the "Type Clipoboard" option, what comes out on the other end is the text string...if you couldn't push the shift key. ( becomes 9, X becomes x, $ becomes 4, etc. Am I missing a setting? Is there any way to fix this?

After discussing with our Engineering Department, I have to shed some more light on my last reply. The fix that has been made by our Engineering Department was for the "Typing Macro" entry type and it only works on Firefox.

Oh, I see. I've not used the Typing Macro, could you give me some more information on how to use that? So far I'm seeing the same behavior that the OP was experiencing even after the update.

I realize this is an older post but I'd like to share an update. RDM 2023.2.9 has been released and contains a fix for this specific issue. I apologize for the slow turnaround; VMRC uses proprietary extensions to the underlying RFB (VNC) protocol making this non-trivial to solve.
