hi,
we use "User specific settings" alot. Users are told to use "User vault" to store their credentials and get confused with "My personal credentials".
Could you please either add an option for admins to hide this from "User specific settings"-dialog or hide it automatically if "My personal credentials" are not set?

Hello Guenther,
Just to be sure, do you want to only hide it from "user specific settings"? We currently have a GPO to disable it called DisableMyPersonalCredentials, so I'm wondering if this could work for you, or if you need some of your users to still be able to use "My Personal Credentials" in other situations.
Regards,
Hubert Mireault
hi Hubert,
thanks for pointing this out. If we could run a report which tells us that this feature is not used by anyone we could activate that setting.
If this is not possible it is not an option for us to use this setting.
Please let me know if we can run such an report and also the reg key itself (as we use Intune rather than GPOs).

Hi Guenther,
You can get the list of all reg keys of the RDM GPOs on that page.
https://kb.devolutions.net/rdm_group_policies.html
The one you are looking for is %Root%\SOFTWARE\Policies\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager\DisableMyPersonalCredentials.

Hi Guenther,
Sadly there is report available to verify if someone has his MyPersonalCredentials configured as this is a local settings. The information isn't saved in the data source.
About the improvement to hide the option "My Personal Credentials", would you like that the new option hide it everywhere in RDM or only in User Specific Settings?
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
hi Erica,
I think as long no personal credential was set/specified it would be best to hide it everywhere.
