Internet Browser out of date?

Hi everyone,

I get more and more messages like this when I start a web session:

Web applications apparently don't want to continue if you're using an old version. However, the versions of my browsers have been updated. Whichever browser I choose, this message keeps coming. I can start the web applications outside of RDM.

Is this a known issue? Is there a solution for that?

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!

Since RDM's Embedded browsers are separate from the actual external browsers, they do not get updated even if you update your actual browsers. In order to avoid this kind of messages using RDM's Embedded browsers, we recommend to keep the application up-to-date, to have access to our most recent browser integrations.

Additionally, we recommend going to File > Options > Types > Website and setting the Web Browser (default) option to either Chrome or Edge, as they are typically our two most reliable embedded browsers.

I have installed latest Version 2021.1.40.0 Enterprise and have the same problem with Firefox (Veraltet)
How can i solve that?

Hello,

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the Embedded Firefox browser is now considered deprecated. The option to use this embedded browser is kept for compatibility purposes, but it no longer receives improvements or updates. I would recommend using Chrome or Edge instead if possible.
