How many entries do you have in your database? Maybe you can post a screenshot of your Help -> Diagnostic -> Datasource tab?

I see 2 thing here: the number of entries + offline mode turned off.

Is it possible that your local cache is not enabled? If the local cache is turn off, this means that all your entries are reloaded every time you try to use them.

On the other hand, with 15000 entries and only 2 vaults, you are lucky that you don't encounter slowness with .21, because you should encounter slowness with that version as well. We recommend having around 3000 entries per vault for ideal performance. My recommendation would be to add more vaults to your current configuration.
