AWS System Manager (formerly known as SSM) provides a host of capabilities including parameter store and other features, all accessible via CLI API's. One feature that it offers is a connection method that connects to instances without SSH keys or requiring any additional ports to be opened. It also provides a host of other security related features, most of which I am still learning about.
This feature request is to add the AWS System Manager connection type as either a core type or plugin that opens up first the connection capabilities, and later access to all the relevant features of SSM - such as access to the parameter store as a secure document type, for example. Not sure how feasible this is, but I didn't see anything about it in any search so I thought I would ask here.

Hello,
Thank you for the request and for providing this information. We'll add this to our todo list. I can't give you an estimate on when we'll be able to work on this yet but we'll update this thread once we have the resources available.

Hubert Mireault
Can i upvote this. Unfortunately i've had to move away from from using Devolutions & can't recommend it for enterprise solutions anymore because it does not support using AWS ssm.
Haven't seen or heard anything about this. Is it on the radar yet?

Hello,
It's not yet in a roadmap unfortunately. The scope of the integration would be quite big so we have focused on different integrations and improvements for the time being.

This would be a huge win to get this included and urge you to reconsider. At the moment we cannot use RDM to manage any of our AWS customers as it doesn't meet our MSP partner compliance.
Any update on this?
Hello,
Nothing new for now.
