RDP, Thumbnail page, refresh is not working
Hello,
as mentioned. I am using RDP connections. On Thumbnail I can see all connections, but it's a static image. Neither Refresh button, nor refresh time change is refreshing the small images. Thumbnail is only refreshed when I open one connection in a big screen and than return to thumbnail. In this time this one particular image is refreshed.
Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Thank you for contacting us on that matter! In order to help us determine what could be causing this behavior, I have a few questions for you :
- What version of RDM do you currently use?
- Are your sessions set to the External or Embedded display mode?
- Just to be sure I understand, what do you mean when you mention opening connections "in a big screen"?

- there are few tabs - server01, server02, Overview-Thumbnails - so I am talking about switching from Thumbnails tab to the server01 (one server screen over whole monitor) for example and than back to Thumbnails

Thank you for your response! I would like to verify two more things. First, could you please verify if pressing on the "Play" button in the Thumbnail tab changes the behavior? The current behavior you describes seems to be the same as mine when the "Stop" button is pressed, so "Play" should revert it.
If that still does not help, I would like to know how much time is set for your refresh rate at the bottom-right of the Thumbnail page.

Hmmm. Thank you. This was the problem.
First I have thought that without "Play" button it should refresh in "View only" mode and with "Play" it means interract in thumbnail. It was a wrong thought from my side.
Thank you for support in this.
But I have a next questions:
1) Starting up of RDM takes about 40 secconds on my laptop. I know the laptop is not the best one, but it is i5 with 8GB RAM and SSD... Are there any optins, settings,... to switch, change to start faster? I am using RDP connections only and only RDP hosts are deffined.
2) Connecting to some of the host take about 3 minutes, but only sometimes. On seccond try it is connected in few secconds. This behavior is realy random. Have you ever seen something simillar? Any advice what to reconfigure? I was been using RDCMan for a long time and this was not a problem in this software. So I am sure that it is only affecting RDM...

Regarding the opening speed, you can try the following:
- Open a CMD window with elevated privileges
- Navigate to the installation folder of RDM. By default, the path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Devolutions\Remote Desktop Manager
- Run OptimizeRDM.bat
