Quickconnect and Template Folder
First of all I would like to thank you all for this fantastic tool. My question is related to the quickconnect function: i've successfully created a template and associated it to a folder. Then I've linked the quickconnect feature to the template. If I open a new rdp session through the quickconnect feature it successfully opens but I don't see the machine in the folder of the template. I don't know if it's clear to you, I've tryed to describe it the best as I can.

Would it be possible for you to provide us screenshots to illustrate this behavior? I would like to see the configuration of your Folder Template as well.
The Quick Connect feature allows you to quickly connect to a remote host using a template but does not create an entry of the appropriate type automatically in your Navigation Pane.

Hi James, thank you for your reply. Sincerely I did not add a Folder Template, just an RDP Template in which I linked the interested folder "work in progress". My goal is to put in this folder the rdp connections opened with "Quick Connect" feature.

According to my tests, what you are trying to achieve cannot be done with the QuickConnect feature. While this feature allows you to apply a Template on the connection you launch using the "Quick Connect" button, it does not allow you to automatically create an entry under a folder specified in your Template.
A good workaround would be to create your RDP entry from your template by going under the "Template" section of the "Add New Entry" window:
That way, your new connection will be created under your "Work In Progress" folder.
