I have many customer servers where I connect to that require me to have my IP address whitelisted with them. I'm moving and will no longer have the option to have a static IP address (at least to start).
Now I want to use some kind of solution for a proxy server so that I will have the proxy server IP address whitelisted at my customer's networks
I use Untangle as a firewall where I have set up a VPN tunnel between my home office and a AWS Untangle server that has a static IP. How can I redirect all traffic from Remote Desktop Manager to this tunnel? Could I use the Proxy Configuration in Remote Desktop Manager?
I would appreciate if someone could give me some advice on how to do this.
Perhaps a better question is what is a good proxy to use for Remote Desktop Manager?
Hello,
We moved your post to the Remote Desktop Manager Forum.
From what I understand, adjusting the routes accordingly should do the trick.
Could you tell me how you would do it without RDM?
It's going to be simpler to give you an accurate answer once we know what you're using.
Thanks!

Hi Alex,
Without RDM I could connect to the AWS Untangle OpenVPN with a client computer using a full tunnel. Once connected now all of my traffic from the local client goes through this OpenVPN tunnel.
So how could I redirect all traffic from RDM through the OpenVPN tunnel that I have set up between the two Untangle Firewalls?
I figured out how to do this. In the remote Untangle OpenVPN settings, I can create rules to direct certain traffic over the VPN tunnel. That does exactly what I need. If anyone else ever has similar needs and wants more details send me a direct message
Hello,
Awesome! I'm glad you figured it out, ant thank you so much for offering your helps to the community.
Let us know if there is anything else we can do.
