avatar

Hi,

I have a entry of type "Information" and a sub connection of type Credential Entry.
I set on parent all permission to Everyone... ON child, interface dont let me set any permission on it...

Other users still cannot copy password from child connection.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!

Permissions cannot be set on sub-connections. They should normally always have the same permissions as their parent entry. I did some tests on my side and this was also the case, which means I am currently unable to replicate the behavior you describe.

In order to help me determine what could be causing your sub-connection's permissions to be different from its parent entry, I would like to ask you a few questions.

  • What version of RDM do you currently use?
  • What type of data source do you use?
  • How was your sub-connection created? Was is created using a template?

Best regards,
