Dear devolutions,
we have a lot of users, that use offline mode often.
We run own dps server and we would like to somehow configure alerts, that could notify users before their offline cached DB expires, so they can sync with server before its expired and they are able to sync offline changes to the db.
Would that be possibble somehow?
thank you
Michal
Hi Michal,
This is currently not available but it's a very good idea. I've added this suggestion to our to-do list.

Stéfane Lavergne
Thank you, hopefully we will see it in future releases.
Hi Michal,
We have added this feature internally. It should be available starting with version 2021.2.0.0

Hello,
I went around this older feature request, is this allready available?
Please, can you tell me how to set this up?
Thanks
Michal
Hi,
This feature is available if you are using version 2021.2.0.0 and above.
The settings can be found in "System Settings" under "Cache/Offline"
If the "Notification" value match "Expiration" it will act as always show notification and if set to 0 no notification will be shown prior to expiration.

Jean-Francois Duchesne
Is this available also in Mac version?
I cant find it anywhere.
thanks,
michal
Hi Michal,
Unfortunately no, it is not available in RDM Mac. I've opened a ticket for it. We will post back when it is done.

To understand this clearly - we need to do this settings just on DPS server in system settings right?
Or are there some client side settings which need to be done??
Thanks
Michal
Hi,
Exactly, the next time the users connect to the database it will refresh their offline cache and RDM will handle the notifications.
You should not have to do anything else for it to work.

Hi michalmasek,
The warning has been implemented in RDM and RDM Free for Mac 2022.2.11.0, which is now available.
