RDM goes Offline and cannot get back online

Since the latest update, to 2021.1.25.0 64-bit, the Devolutions Online Drive goes Offline after an unknown period of inactivity, usually by the next morning, and nothing I do seems to get it back online.

Going to File, Go Online does not work. Nor does anything else.

While it is offline, I can not modify any settings at all.

The only way I can get around this issue is to close down RDM and start it up again. This is the version where for some reason it jumps to a webpage to help you log in, unsuccessfully mostly.

Has anyone any ideas about how I can get around this bug?

We are currently in the process of getting this issue figured out, and we may have a fix coming later this week.

May I ask what version you were using before the update to 2021.1.25.0 ?

Thank you for your quick reply.

I have no idea what I was using, is there a way to find out?

However, I have just found a sort of workaround... if I switch to Local Data Source, sign in to that, and then switch back to the Online Drive, it forces the authentication requests to appear and gets me back in without having to restart. Was sure I tried that before but perhaps not. Anyway, that means the connection isn't hindered by anything else except some kind of authentication issue.

Unfortunately we don't keep records of previous versions in RDM. What you could do is go in Help -> Application logs and scroll down until you see logs from another version (if any).

As for the authentication issue, we'll keep working on it and come back to you once we have any updates.

5-3-2021 v2020.3.29.0 - 64-bit
3-2-2021 v2020.3.24.0 - 64-bit
