Limited list for Credential & Jump host selection

It's possible to accomplish this using the Advanced Search in RDM.

Click on the View menu and select Advanced Search. In that window, select Folder in the dropdown and type the folder name that you would like to retrieve.

That kind of defeats the purpose, my suggestion is supposed to make it easier.
What you are suggesting is cumbersome and can not be applied to the right click menu jump to list that is provided.
What I'm suggesting is a trimmed suggestion list for credentials in an entry (Linked (Vault)) and the right click menu jumphost automatic suggestions (right click -> open with parameters -> Open via Jump)
Once you get in to the thousands of entries these list becomes too long and just not useful.
Limiting this list would make it useful again and easy + fast to work with, advanced search is the opposite.

Do you think you could flag (Advanced Setting with something like : Use in Jump) those that you want and RDM will only list them?

I'm not sure what you mean but that would not limit the list I think?
When you flag a host as jump host it just creates a list for ALL of them in the right click menu.

The filter is my feature request? What are you asking exactly?

I don't know where I should put the filter exactly? I can't figure exactly if it's in the settings, the folder or the prompt dialog.

Like I said, on a folder.
So imagine a folder per customer in root:

• Customer 1 (folder setting: limit credentials and / or jump hosts to this folder and subfolders)
  • Credential 1
  • Servers
    • Server 1: Jump host
    • Server 2
      • Right clicking here would only show jump host server 1 and 3, NOT server 4 in a small list, no subfolders or at least more condensed)
      • Opening properties and setting Linked (Vault) credentials would show a list of just credential 1 and NOT credential 2
    • Server 3: maybe another jump host
  • Network devices
    • NAS
    • Switch
• Customer 2
  • Credential 2
  • Servers
    • Server 4: jump host
• Customer 3

Make sure that if an entry has a credential set outside the folder that this should be able to remain as well as advanced search should allow all folders.
This is just for convenience when adding items.
