We're looking to bulk update the RDP session credentials for a large group of servers in RDM with unique passwords per server.
The standard bulk update utility appears to only update to identical credentials. I've also tried using the CSV import session wizard but that just creates duplicate entries and the .rdm export and import uses encrypted credential strings.
Is there some way of doing this that I've missed?
Hello,
You can use our "Edit (Special Actions) - Custom PowerShell command"
Something like this works perfectly
$connection.SetPassword([System.Web.Security.Membership]::GeneratePassword(20, 4)); $RDM.Save();
The method is declared as
public static string GeneratePassword (int length, int numberOfNonAlphanumericCharacters);
Please adapt the numbers to your liking

Since the same powershell command appears to be executed separately on all selected entries, would an appropriate method be to
I think it will work, but doesn't seem right given it would have to execute the powershell commands and reload the CSV file multiple times, 1 for each entry. Is there a way to have the powershell command only execute once for the entire selected set and just loop through all of the selected entries?
