Is there a way to make smaller text, zoom out or choose smaller spacing in connection tree view? It takes much more space than on Windows version.
Hi Martin,
There is no way to change the size of the connection tree view at the moment. I've opened a feature request.

Hi Martin,
I've reduced the height of the connection tree view rows from 28 to 22 (which is on par with RDM Windows tree view). This will be available in the next release of RDM.

Hi Martin,
RDM 2021.1.4.0 just got deployed and should soon be available to download.

Hi, thanks. It looks much better now. It would be great this to be user configurable (spacing, text size and ability to disable every sub-section be showed to the right of its parent).
Hi Martin,
Thanks for the suggestions, we'll take those under consideration. That being said, I do not know what you mean by the "ability to disable every sub-section be showed to the right of its parent".

I am sorry for confusing description, hope this screenshot helps. When the structure gets bigger, it needs to be resized to see it all (or scrolling).

And what would you prefer? You do not want the offset on child?

That is correct. On a laptop, space for remote desktop is limited, so every pixel count (without scrolling). However its just a thought, maybe it will be too confusing to use...
As you say, I think it would quickly become confusing (with deep tree structure). That being said, we'll keep that in mind to see if we can't come up with something.

Also, if you want to keep the most space for your sessions (the tabbed area) while having the freedom to have as wide a tree as you want, maybe the "Preferences -> User Interface -> User Interface -> General -> Use overlapping navigation" be helpful for you. It hides the tree view by default, allowing the tabbed area to take the full with of the Window. When showing the tree view (with ⌘N), it will be shown over the tabbed area (instead of on the side), making it so the tabbed area can retain the full with.
