Hello all,
I have three VMware Dashboard connections, each for a different vCenter server. Two of the three work great, but one returns only 48 of the 251 VMs. If I have RDM call PowerCLI and do a Get-VM, it retrieves all 251 VMs using the same credentials. This is on 2020.3.29.0 on three different PCs but I don't think this has ever worked since the feature was released. The two that work are against vSphere 6.0 and vSphere 7.0, and the one that doesn't is also vSphere 7.0.
Can you think of a reason for this? I find VMware Dashboard an excellent new feature. I would love for it to work on all my vCenters.
Thanks again,
-Eric
Hello,
Thank you for reporting this issue.
This is a known issue and it's on the engineer's todo list. For your information, the API RDM is using has some problems listing VMs on vSphere 7.0.
Once a fix will be available, we will update this thread.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
Excellent. Thank you!
I am not sure if you're aware of this, but I just upgraded to 2021.1.20.0 and in VMware Dashboard there is no longer a right-click context menu for the VMs, rendering the feature useless.
Thanks,
-Eric
Hello Eric,
Thanks for letting us know, we'll fix the contextmenu for the next version.

It appears my issue has been resolved in 2021.1.22.0. Thanks for the effort!
Appreciated,
-Eric
