Smart reconnect delay on login tweak

Hi there,

I've been using the smart reconnect delay on login feature and it works great. However, there are times where I wish it could be better. First of all, here's the setting/feature I am talking about:




As you can see, it is configured to apply smart reconnect 5 seconds after the session is launched. I'm using an RDP session.

Here's the problem. On some old machines or servers, it takes longer for the logon process to complete. If I RDP to those machines, sometimes it could take 30 seconds or 1 minute before I am fully logged in for the first time.

However, AFTER I am fully logged in, if I were to disconnect and reconnect, it would only take a few seconds.

If I configure smart reconnect to apply on a 30 second delay, then it would take too long most of the time (as I would only be disconnected from the server and would be able to reconnect quickly). However, this 30 second delay will ensure that when I am logged in for the very first time, the screen size is adjusted properly.

On the other hand, if I apply smart reconnect to apply on a 5 second delay, then this would mean that 99% of the time it would work properly, as I am only disconnecting and reconnecting to the server. However, when I am logged in for the very first time, the smart reconnect would kick in after 5 seconds and would actually disconnect me from the server before I am even fully logged in.

Is there a way to adjust this so that smart reconnect kicks in only when a session is fully logged in?
