can't start maximized after reboot
hi,
i've tried several things now forcing RDM to start up maximized:
- creating a shortcut in the startup folder of the start menu (option "Run" on tab "Shortcut" set to "Maximized")
- created a batch calling one of the follwing commands:
- start "" "%path_to_RDM%RemoteDesktopManager.exe.lnk" (calling a shortcut which is set to be maximized)
- start "" /MAX "%path_to_RDM%RemoteDesktopManager.exe" (using the option "/MAX" to open RDM maximized)
- start "" /MAX "%path_to_RDM%RemoteDesktopManager.exe.lnk" (calling the shortcut which is set to be maximized to be opened maximized)
nevertheless after reboot each option i tried seems to work fine for some time (up to 4 reboots) but then, opening a connection from the systray menu the RDM window is opened "Restored" (neither minimized nor maximized)
the system is XP SP3 german and this behaviour is really annoying.
any suggestion would be appreciated.

RDM save the last window state, but I will add an option for you "Always start maximized"

hi,
i'm using the settings:
- start minimized
- always show trayicon
- reduce to trayicon on close
would it then be possible to select both "always start maximized" and "start minimized" to bring up RDM maximized but then automatically minimize it to tray?

Sorry for the confusion, yes it was exactly what I was thinking, the option should be named "Initial open" with these values Default, Maximized, Last closed state ...
