Consider offering engineering-hours as a billable product, and allow companies to sequester your expert resources as services

I was considering some long-standing Remote Desktop Manager projects, then considering hiring outside services for help,

I thought about other services my company uses and recall that most of them offer some sort of ancillary services like I've described above.

A few which come to mind:
Installation and migration (to include specialized database work)
Customization and tailoring (company engineers will tailor your instance of their service as you require)
-- though purchased as an additional product, I recall that some of our more costly tools come with a "10 engineering hours accrued per year" as part of our service contract.
-- I recall being told their engineers could even create alternative color schemes, CSS layouts, and whatever we could think of.

Configuring,
Consulting and planning,
1-1 training & tutoring
group tutoring , especiallly during onboard.

Similar to "support", but instead "business services"

Basically: it'd be cool to hire the experts directly than trial a freelancer.

Hello,

It's possible to get training / consultation via remote support depending on your needs and your purchase.
The support team delivers the sessions, the engineering department is not involve. They will be contacted by my team if necessary.

As per what I can read, you are looking for some consulting hours with my team. Could you send us an email at ticket@devolutions.net so that we can get in touch, validate your support plan and see how we can help you with your consultation and what would be need to be purchased.

Best regards,

Jeff Dagenais
