Windows 10 to MacBook

Im trying to use my windows 10 laptop to connect to my macbook pro and I can not figure out what it will not let me. I have remote management on for the MAC. On the windows machine I am trying to use RDM using the ARD connection type. Filling in using either host name or ip and my creds. Just says unable to connect to host. Is there something I might be missing?

Are you in the same network as your MacBook? Also, if you head over to Help - Application Logs, do you have more information about the error?

Yes same network. No errors in the Application Logs. Only info in those logs are "Upgrading database for data source "local data source" with version 1 and goes to version 132. No other entries in that log.

And are you able to ping the Mac from Windows (vice-versa)? Do you have a Firewall that could prevent the connection?
