HI,
Is there any feature to have the user confirm before copy_pasting multiple lines into a terminal ?
Similar to MobaXterm feature called "Warn before pasting multiple lines"
If not, can we add it as a feature request ?
Thanks,
Christophe
Hello,
This is currently not possible to do. We've opened a feature request ticket to look into it. We'll update this thread once we have an update on the new feature.

Hello,
We've made the change and it will be available starting with RDM 2021.1.6.0. The warning can be disabled in File > Options > Types > Terminal by unchecking "warn on multi-line paste", or by clicking "disable this warning" when doing the first multi-line paste in the terminal.

Hello Hubert,
Thank you for the quick action. The feature is there and working.
Would it be possible to allow the user to edit the lines shown before pasting the text into the session ?
This little extra feature would be extremely useful.
Thanks,
Christophe
Hello,
No problem! I'll open another ticket to work on this improvement for the feature. We'll let you know once we have something.

Hello,
An update on the feature, it will be possible to edit the pasted text before sending it once RDM 2021.1.27.0 is available. We're currently hoping to release this minor update early next week.

Hi,
Is it also possible to show the text by default? currently you need to click the "details" button to see what you are pasting. It would be nice if it would show by default.
No problem, we can make it so that RDM remembers that you last opened it, so next time the details will be shown by default.
I've opened a ticket for this small change, unfortunately it won't make it for 2021.1.27.0 since the build is already made and going through QA testing. We'll update this thread once the change is done.

Hello,
The change has been done for RDM 2021.1.28.0. The application will now remember the state of the window if you pressed "details" or not, so if you open the details, future prompts of the window will have the details already shown.
