Azure/Office365 Portal - Autologin with user specific credentials
Dear Devolutions,
I bet it has been asked numous times, but i can't find a post regarding my specific situation:
We managed Several customers which have their own Microsoft Azure and Office365 tenants.
Each of our engineers have their own admin account on the customers environment, which is also synced to AzureAD.
The engineers have all their admin accounts in their private vault in RDM.
I'm trying to create a autologin on the Azure and Office365 portals by using user specific settings->override credentials->Private vault credential.
However, login.microsoft.com is a two or three staged login. So the Control ID's are not doing the job all the way.
Is the above possible, and if yes, how?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Roel Beelen,

Hello,
It is indeed possible to automate the login to the O365 Portal, I've created an export of my entry with the control ID's already filled this entry should work after being imported and changing the credentials.
I've attached the export to this post.
Best regards,

Hey Samuel,
we use this example, and it works fine in an embeded chrome windows.
But we want to open an external chrome windows, because we need some other extension in chrome to be available.
This does not seem to work then....any suggestion...
I also tried a typing macro to fill in the credentials, i added them to the tools entry..and uses $TOOL_USERNAME$ and $TOOL_PASSWORD$.
The username is fine, but for the password i always get invalid password ....not sure what happening there..
So if we could find a way to automate login in external chrome window with credentials in vault would be the thing....
Hello,
I see, in that case since you're launching the entry in "External" display mode, you would need to use the "Devolutions Web Login" extension. This is our browser extension which should allow RDM to autofill in your browser it can be downloaded from here: https://devolutions.net/web-login
Here is a link to our knowledge base article regarding its installation for Chrome: https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/devolutionsweblogin_installationchrome.html
Once DWL is installed and configured with RDM you can go in your currently existing "Web Browser (HTTP/HTTPS)" entry "Properties" and simply enable the option "Enable Devolutions Web Login".
Let me know if this works for you,

Hey Samuel,
we installed extension, and enable devulutions web login is enabled, but unfortunatly it does not seem to pass the logins with external mode.

Hello Benny,
Thank you for your swift reply!
Would it be possible for you to provide us a screenshot of what you are seeing when you launch this connection in your native browser? I want to see if the Devolutions Web Login extension shows that you have a result for this page or not.
Also, if you right-click on the fields of the webpage and select "Devolutions Web Login" do you see any results?
