Is this just a translation error or is it really language dependent?

I'm trying to set up a custom VPN with the Pulse Secure Client, I noticed that the parameters in the settings tab of VPN/SSH/Gateway are different depending on the display language.

Hello Martin,

I believe in this case the english version is correct, the "VPN_XXXX" should be used in this context. We'll fix this up for the german translation. 🙂
As a note, it's not dependent on the language, so the variables will work no matter the language you're in, it's only a translation error.

Hi Hubert

If I replace the parameter -p $VPN_PASSWORD$ with the plaintext password -p P@$$w0rd in the opening arguments it works, pulse secure client starts and establishes the connection.

This does not work:

This works

Same behavior with $PASSWORD$

Can you confirm that it behaves correctly or am I doing something wrong
