RDM variable question $PARENT_xxx$ in a HOST from the Parent Folder
Ich wollte bei einem "HOST" diverse "$PARENT xx$" Variablen des übergeordneten Ordners verwenden. Diese Variablen stehen leider nicht zur Verfügung.
Gibt es Gründe warum dies nicht möglich ist, beziehungsweise besteht die Möglichkeit der Funktionellen Erweiterung?
Ich möchte sehr viele Informationen relativ zum Übergeordneten Ordner verwenden um diese nicht immer von Hand Pflegen zu müssen.

For a "HOST" I wanted to use various "$ PARENT xx $" variables from the parent folder. Unfortunately, these variables are not available.
Are there reasons why this is not possible or is there a possibility of functional expansion?
I would like to use a lot of information relative to the parent folder so that I don't always have to maintain it manually.

Thanks for contacting us on the matter.
The $PARENT$ Variable set is related to the Sub Connections.

Additional information, at the bottom left corner of the property windows of an entry, you will find the button "Variables".
This is great to find all the possible values, and what will be interesting to you is the section "Folder", in which you can find all possible values for Typed Folder (typed meaning a Site, a Domain, a Company or whatever other type of folder.
