How to manage auto logon/fill in in RDM if website form load is in 2/3 or more phases?
Hi Team,
I was wondering if there is an easy / intuitive way to auto login with HTML control IDs like I used to do on almost all sites but today more and more modern sites have a login path in 2/3 phases or more.
Mainly, I have the problem with the O365 portal at this address:
https://login.microsoftonline.com
Basically, for O365, I filled in each field (id i0116 for the email, then i0118 the password and then either the Next or Connect buttons, they have the same idSIButton9 that I put in concerned submit) .
The first button is validated but not the second.. And then it asks again if we want to stay connected, I would like to skip the Yes and that everything is logged itself .
Do you have an idea ?
Cheers,
Kévin
Hello,
I have created an export of a working O365 Portal entry, you will simply have to change the "Username" and "Password" credential fields with your own. You can do so by going into the "Properties" of the entry.
Attached to this post is my export,
Let me know if this helps,

This is as close to what I am trying to do but does not have MFA. The ones i am looking at you have to actually click Login before the user/pass comes up.
For example, this is what I am trying to figure out.
Alot of the stuff I usually have to login has forms like this. I was thinking I probably going to have to script this, but I am NOT fluent with Powershell. I have tried using the custom fields, by leaving the user/pass blank, putting the ID in, then on the second I add the user/pass with the enter/submit. didnt seem to work. I have also tried putting a slight delay on it, which did not seem to help either.
The other forms with multiple steps such as "Click login to begin > enter username > enter password" then takes you to your portal or whatever. No MFA, OTP, or anything like that.
If you are able to help me it would be appreciated.

Also, I tried your Outlook office 365 login - export. I do not believe it is still working. I just tried it in my venture to my previous post on this topic.
Hello Kjohnson,
Thank you for your reply,
Is the website from your screenshot a public website? If so perhaps you could provide me the URL?
If you prefer I can contact you via private message so that you can provide me with the URL.
I would like to perform some tests on my end if possible.
Let me know,
Best regards,

Hi Samuel,
Yes, they both were.
This is one I am in more than anything when I have to get client ID numbers to enter when doing integrations. It used to work until they changed over to this new annoying box...

Ok so I have a little bit of an update since i have been playing around with this. I am able to get it to fill in the username and then the password, but not able to get it to do a second 'enter' to finish the login process. Any idea on what I can do to get the second enter after it fills in the password?
Hello,
Thank you for your reply and for providing me the URLs,
I will have a look on my end to see If I'm able to make it work,
I will keep you updated on this,

Hello,
Thank you for your patience,
I must say I'm a bit puzzled, from having a look at the provided website both of them have the value "Autocomplete=off" for both the "Username" and "Password" fields normally with this value RDM will not be able to autofill credentials in "Embedded" mode however from testing on my end it seems to be working.
I've attached an export of my entry to this response if you replace my test credentials with yours is it working? If not then I'm afraid this is most likely due to the "Autocomplete=off" in this case my recommendation would be to launch these websites in "External" and use our "Devolutions Web Login" extension to autofill the credentials.
Let me know,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
