Unable to upgrade due to missing msi file

Unable to upgrade due to missing msi file

avatar

I am trying to upgrade my Remote desktop manager (Free) to the latest version but it keeps coming back saying that it can not upgrade. I backed up all my config and went to remove the existing version manually and found the issue. It is looking for the install msi file, Setup.RemoteDesktopManagerFree.2020.1.20.msi. It is expecting this file to be in my roaming profile.
How do I get this back or how do I get rid of the old install without it?

Hi Ross,

The solution requires a repair tool from Microsoft.

This should help fix the issue.

We've documented the link here - https://kb.devolutions.net/rdm_unable_uninstall_missing_msi.html

Please let us know if this helps!
