I don't know if this belongs here or in Password Hub forum. I have been in the process of moving my data source over to Password Hub Personal and importing credentials from as well. I have run into an issue though. I am unable to use credential entries within the Password Hub data source for credentials in sessions. When you look at the details of the credential entry, they appear fine, username, password, etc, are correct. When using it with a session the login will fail.
Copying the user from the credential entry returns the correct information, however when you copy the password you get something like this
{"Data":"XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxx==","Type":1,"SourceRepositoryId":"00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000","SourceConnectionId":"12345678-9098-7654-3210-123456789098"}
This is the same for both imported credentials and newly created.
I have tested with a Password Hub Business account, and it has the same type of values for copied passwords, but it does seem to be able to use the credential entries for sessions.
I have also tested a credential entry in a local data source and have no issues. It works with sessions and copying the password returns the password.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.
David

Hi David,
I just want to double check that when you copy password in Hub Business, it doesn't copy the password correctly, but when opening a session it is fine. Can you confirm? (Hub Business)
Thank you, have a good day!

Maxime,
That is correct, when testing with Hub Business, the password copied from a credential returns the data string, but it does still seem to work when using the credential entry with a session. And just to clarify that is right click and copy password.
