How do I get the navigation bar to not double up as I open servers?

One of the most annoying things I find when working on servers is when I get scroll bars on the bottom and side of the RDP session. Right now, RDM opens up my servers and that doesn't happen until I open too many servers. Then it doubles up the navigation pane making it twice as wide which then forces all my old RDP sessions that have been connected to have those stupid scroll bars. How do I stop that?
