Hi guys,
We got the requirement to manage several RDP accounts from a central place.
The requirement in detail would be:
Using the RDM private vault is not really an option in that case because of the central management.
Therefore I wanted to ask if it is possible to cover this requirement with a new feature?
Best regards
Hello,
I had a chat with our engineering department last week and we may have a solution for you.
We offer a credential entry named Password List. Inside this credential entry, there's a Roles tab. This will allow you to determinate who has access to what.
I think this will be something that you can apply to your scenario.

Jeff Dagenais
Hi,
thank you very much for the update!
That sounds really great!
Did you mean that the feature should currently already be available or that it could be added in the future?
Best regards
Hello,
The Password List entry type is already available and the Roles tab too!
The Roles tab is available for Advanced Data Sources but not for Devolutions Server data source.

Hi,
OK, then I think the problem is that we use MySQL?!
I can see no roles tab, even with an admin account...
Or do I need to deploy a newer version of RDM?
Current version: 2020.2.15.0
Best Regards
Hello,
It seems that this Roles tab is only available for SQL Server data sources.
Let me verify with the engineering team if we can do something about it.
Best regards,
Érica Poirier
Hello,
I have sent a ticket to our engineering department to get the Roles tab available in Password List entries on MySQL data source. Once this will be available, we will update this thread.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello,
The issue has been solved and the fix is available in the latest RDM beta version 2020.3.20 you can download here.

Hi Erica,
I have already tested the beta version and the Password List works great with MySQL!
Thanks to all for the great support and the fast implementation :)
Best regards
