Cannot use environment variable with session filename 'IBM Personal Communication'

Hello,

I would like to use a Windows var env for the session filename, something like %DOCUMENTS% but the path is not recognized :

I tried with custom variables, but any of the following ones worked :

Any workaround would be appreciated :)

Hello,

We added variable resolving for IBM Personal Communication. This will be available from RDM 2020.3.18.0.
Keep in mind that by default %DOCUMENTS% isn't an environment variable, you're probably looking for %USERPROFILE%\Documents

Keep in mind that by default %DOCUMENTS% isn't an environment variable, you're probably looking for %USERPROFILE%\Documents

You are right, but here %DOCUMENTS% is a variable that I previously set in the Windows user env settings (forgot to mention that in my initial post).

Then it should work once the update is out, as for environment variables we are using the .NET variable resolving. 🙂
