Accessing objects from a other vault
Is there a way to access objects from an other vault ?
We have a collection of scripts.
I want to store them in a vault accessible from all members of the team(s) (not my private vault) and have the possibility to execute a script from this vault on a session from an other vault.

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!
Unfortunately, I don't believe the setup you are describing can be achieved in RDM. Since vaults are completely separate, I don't believe there would be a way to configure the scripts to be available in a different vault.
That being said, let me verify with our engineering department in case there is a way to accomplish this that I am not aware of. I'll let you know when I have an answer.

This is why we use one vault. They are not useful unless you can have more than one vault open at a time.

I realize I forgot to follow-up on my first message in this thread. I apologize for that. I did get a confirmation that for the time being it is not possible to have access to entries from multiple different vaults at the same time.

The way I see it, using separate vaults is great for departments, however, there will always be staff (Management, admin...) who will need to access multiple departments/vaults.
Unless you can easily access the connections in all the vaults, it just takes too much effort to switch between them.
Creating folders and applying security at that level works great and really precludes the need for multiple vaults.
