When running a SSH port-forwarding session every time the channels are opened and closed RDM becomes unresponsive.
When analyzing the process it says it's waiting on network I/O.
"One or more threads of RemoteDesktopMangerFree.exe are waiting waiting to finish network I/O"
This is causing the PC to lag to the extent that typing is very delayed.
Kind regards,
Ian

Hi Gabriel,
RDM becomes unresponsive up for 30-45 secs every 30 seconds and my computer becomes very slow, I see the process spike heavily. These symptoms seem to worsen the longer I have the port-forwarding running.
Web-browsing sessions to manage the GUI of firewalls.
Logging is not enabled.

Hello,
We've identified what might be causing these freezes and slowdowns. We modified how the SSH Tunnel and Portforward entries show their logs, as we believe this was causing the issue. The change will be available in RDM 2020.3.15.0, which we hope to release soon.
Regards,
Hubert Mireault
Hi Hubert,
Thank you for looking into this. I will keep my eyes peeled for the next release.
Kind regards,
Ian
