Hello,

The "Check is online" Tool in the Macros/Script/Tools section does most likely not use custom DNS Server to resolve Computername.

I have an RDP entry with a Full DNS Name (not resolvable by normal DNS) and add an custom DNS entry under Properties->Advanced.
RDP Conection, Ping Tool, "Port Scan" Tool works but "Check is online" always says not available.
This is also true for the "Is online" Background Task

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!

One of my colleagues was able to reproduce this behavior, although by taking a slightly different approach.
They have set the Custom DNS server to a fake server, and indeed it made the Ping "break", but the Check Is Online still worked, which proves your point.

I will open a ticket to our engineering team to report this issue, and we will let you know when progress is made on the case.
