Trigger "Is Online Background Task" from a folder

Hi,
In general i have the Background Task disabled, cause it is not needed for the whole DB.
It would be nice to have this feature available on a per Folder base... f.e. to Trigger it by right button menu for all connections in that folder regarding their availibility settings.
Furthermore it would be nice to see the result (online state) also in the Dashboard of the Folder (Entries Table) and/or in Dashboard Overview of the entries itself.

Would it be possible for you to provide us a screenshot of what you are referring to? I am not sure to understand your request. Once I have this information, I will be able to see with our Engineering Department if it is possible to achieve this in RDM.

I will try :)
Under File -> Background Services -> Is Online i can manually start a Status Check for the whole database with hitting refresh
If the database is big, this can take a lot of time and is not necessary for a lot of entries in the database. And also there is no need for me to have automatic check enabled (Just takes to much resources)
I have usually a directory where Client computers are synced with a AD Synchronizer. After hitting the Refresh i can the see the status of the computers in the navigation pane through the color of the entries
and also in the entries Tab of the Folder Dashboard
The feature which would help me is, to trigger the "Is Online" check only for a particular folder for all subentries where applicable. F.e. with the "Check is online" menu point in the right click menu under Macros/Script/Tools menu (which is grayed out for folders).
Furthermore it would be nice to have in the Entries Tab of the folder Dashboard an additional column with "Last seen online or Last connected" date/time field and also on the Overview Tab of a entry itself a field "Last seen/connected" f.e. below Modified and Creation Tile or any other visual state representation.
