change executable for installation path

Is it possible to change the executable when searching for the installation path of an application? For the VMware client to function in Windows 7 64 bit version you need to apply a work around for the client to function. This change launches a batch file prior to opening the VMware Infrastructure client instead of opening vpxclient.exe directly. Is this something that can be changed until the work around is no longer needed. We are running Version 5.6.3.0 Enterprise.

Hi,
Do you know if it's possible to pass the parameters to the batch file ? For now it's not possible to change the exe in RDM, but if it's required, I will add this.

After doing some further research I was able create an system environment variable in Windows that allowed me to call the executable instead of the batch file.

Keep up the great work on this awesome program.
